Like, I can just imagine them having this conversation and Morse being grumpy and Max just being cheerful about it. I love his comment about a daemon attached to Morse having an awareness of the concept of treading carefully because welp, yep! Accurate! :D And then the little emotional bit about Morse's Dad resenting the elephant, which is just perfect. And Max's daemon being called Bombina is amazing, I love it. It's just absolutely perfect, it could have come straight from the TV - if they had daemons. ;)

So, the other fics are good too. ;) Matsuda spilling coffee, oh bless him. And the Chief being so kind and Ide being kind in his own moody Ide way. :) I do not think the Jet Set Radio crew hould stick the vinyl together with glue but they must be allowed to make their own choices. ;) And oh, Near being so sad at his broken toy, I really like that actually. It feels very Near and very Mello too. Great as always! :)
